I haven't written in like a year because I'm cool like that. No in all seriousness, I didn't really have anything to write about. However, today is an exciting day because I get to post pictures of baby animals!

Recently there has been a mother bird to have laid eggs in a nest in my garden. Yeah, oddly enough the bird laid its eggs on the ground for some reason. I thought birds normally do that in trees but whatever. It's been a week or two since we first discovered the bird and it's eggs (which were a cute pale blue that reminded me of easter eggs) and I discovered yesterday that they'd hatched. I recall there being about 5-6 eggs but it seems that a few of them have gone (?) or maybe I just suck at counting.

You can click the pic for the non-resized version. If you still can't tell what it is, the pinkish thing is the bird and the blue/brown speckled oval shape that suspiciously resembles an egg, is indeed, an egg.
